Mark 5 bungalow

  Living Room 19'8 x18'9
  Bedroom 1 13'3 x 9'7
  Bedroom 2 13'3 x 9'1
  Bedroom 3 9'7 x 6'3

Often the Mark 5 is on the end of a terrace of bungalows. However it can be built semi-detached and would then have a garage attached.

This bungalow is probably our most popular. The front entrance is on the side and opens into a small porch. This then opens into a good sized living room. The living room is L shaped with a natural place for the dining table in one part of the L.

The kitchen opens from the living room with a sliding door. Natural light and ventilation are provided to the kitchen by an openable rooflight in the ceiling. It is impossible to demonstrate exactly how this works here - come and see for yourself on your site visit. You get good natural lighting and the ventilation works so well no extract fan is needed. There is a serving hatch from the kitchen to the dining area which gives a view out to the garden.

The bathroom has a similar rooflight to the kitchen and it has a space plumbed for a washing machine and tumble drier.

Fitted cupboards are part of the design to give lots of storage space. The living room faces the rear garden and has patio doors. It is easy to add a conservatory onto the living room.

To ensure privacy our party walls are carefully designed to maximise soundproofing. see soundproofing
