Mark 4 bungalow     

This bungalow has two bedrooms and has been built in a number of locations on our development at Hartland. It is not currently available new but resales do occur.

It is actually the same size as our three bed bungalow but with a different internal layout.

The living room is particularly large in this housetype. This room has a patio door looking straight out into the garden. The living room faces south on most plots. Sometimes a conservatory has been added.

The bungalow will be in a mid terrace location. High levels of sound proofing ensure that normal noise from the bungalows either side cannot penetrate. . There isn’t much external wall—meaning less to paint and less wall to lose heat through.

The entrance is between the two bedrooms, which are normally on the north side. The smaller bedroom can just take a double bed if required but a single is often all that is put in it.

The kitchen and bathroom have good light and ventilation provided by a window set into the roof. This is easy to open. A tumble drier can be put into the bathroom. You will see how it works when you visit.

The bungalows in Jeffery Close do not have garages but will have power provided to their garden shed. In Heard Close the plots have a garage in a group nearby.
