This bungalow is very popular with single people, couples, single parents etc. From the front garden one first enters a small porch, then the large living room.

These bungalows generally have a garage which is located nearby in a group of garages.  Many also have a conservatory added at the rear. This housetype is often available as a resale as there are a number on our estate at Hartland.  For details see Latest Information.

The kitchen opens off the living room with an attractive arch. Plenty of natural light and ventilation are provided to the kitchen by an openable rooflight. It is not easy to demonstrate exactly how this works here - you will just have to come and see for yourself on your site visit. The kitchen has lots of counter and cupboard space and can take a fridge freezer and dishwasher. You don't have to find space in the kitchen for a washing machine or tumble drier, they go in the bathroom.

The bathroom has a similar rooflight to the kitchen and has a plumbed space ready for your washing machine and tumble drier. The drier may vent into the room so long as the rooflight is open. Putting these items in the bathroom leaves much more room in the kitchen and it keeps the noise away from the living end of the bungalow. Clever?

At the far end are 2 bedrooms. The single room is also used to access the garden and is quite small - many people use this room as an office/ study/ sewing/ spare room. A conservatory is often added at the bedroom end which functions just like a second sitting room.

Fitted cupboards are provided throughout.

Although this is a mid-terrace bungalow it benefits from our very high specification separating wall which gives excellent soundproofing - see  soundproofing.
