Mark 10e House This is a variation of our popular Mark 10 house with extra bedroom space created over the garage.

This plan is for 20 and 21 Pengilly Way which are detached plots with south facing
gardens. The large living room has patio doors opening directly south onto
the garden. The garden sizes are about 46' x 38' for plot 21 and 46' x 29'
for plot 20.
These are two of the best plots on the site.
The customer has the option of having a kitchen diner if preferred at no extra cost, depending on stage of construction reached. See the link above to the standard Mark 10 page which show the possible kitchen diner. The garage has been enlarged from the standard Mark 10 and space for two bedrooms is created above. These are bedrooms 2 and 4 in the schedule. The plan provides for two bathrooms, one is en-suite to the master bedroom. Under the stairs is a useful room which is proposed to become a utility room and have a wc and space for washing machine & tumble drier. We haven't built a house quite like this before and so we only have photos of the standard Mark 10, but this actually very similar and has for instance exactly the same living room, kitchen/diner and bed 1. Specification - there has been a big uprating of our windows, external doors and soffits/fascias. Windows are now u-pvc with much thicker double glazing (16mm cavity compared to 6mm up to now). Window hinges allow cleaning from inside which is better for first floor windows especially. Patio doors now have 22mm double glazing to minimize condensation. All fascias and soffits are upvc so the only external painting the property will need will be the walls themselves and the front door. Front doors now come from a firm called IG Weatherbeater -these excellent doors are made of steel with a high insulation core (they don't bend or warp so they stay draught proof better and surprisingly they are also warmer). Front doors have a double glazed glass panel with an attractive pattern. We have also increased our specification regarding electrical items and fencing and other minor items.
