Directions:     How to find the Canoe Section meeting point:

The meeting point is around the rear of the Dartmouth Yacht Club in Lower Street.

It is opposite a well known cafe called Alf Resco and very near the Lower Ferry.

  Cafe Alf Resco

By Car:

  1. Enter Dartmouth from the Totnes direction, not over the ferry from Kingswear (queues are common).

  2. Continue straight on at all junctions until you meet the river.

  3. Continue along the waters edge with the river on your left.

  4. At the very end of this road you will find you are outside the front of Dartmouth Yacht Club.

  5. The meeting point is around the rear of the Yacht Club in Lower Street, opposite Cafe Alf Resco.

Sat nav?

TQ6 9BB,  NB satnavs will send you down tiny narrow 1 in 4 hills in Dartmouth -  switch them off when you enter the town.

Meeting point

All along the sea front is mostly 2 hour parking slots. Not much use for a paddling session.

There is a car park in the centre of the town close to the river, this is well signposted, max 4 hours stay.

There is a well signed Park and Ride at the entrance to the town, best for all day parking in summer.

Always allow 30 mins at least for finding somewhere to park or using the Park & Ride.
